Huaguang Electric Power & Electronics (Group) Co., founded in 1959 by the name of No.777 Factory, is a key state-owned enterprise specialized in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of electro-vacuum devices, semiconductor devices and switch devices. Ever since 1968 when the first vacuum interrupter (VI) in China was developed in the factory for the urgent need of Project 6895, a valuable national defense project, it has gradually established its leading position in the field of vacuum interrupters in China.

　　In 1986, Huanguang imported One Shot Seal-Off ceramic VI production line and manufacturing technologies from American Westinghouse companie, only to upgrade the vacuum interrupter technology in China to a contemporary international level. Through over 30 years’ development, Huaguang nowadays is equipped with rich experiences in R&D, manufacturing, advanced technologies, and first-class technical equipment. It has been certified to the Quality System ISO9001.

　　Its whole series VI products contain more than 150 varieties, which are widely used in such fields as electric power, metallurgy, petrochemistry, coal mines, railway electrification, power supply control centers of rural and urban electric networks.

　　The newly developed are new-generation high-performance miniaturized ‘U’ series of VIs characterized by their extra-miniaturization, simple structures, good insulation and stable quality.
